Role DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated full-time or part-time Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team at our on-site location in Cowra, NSW. In this role, you will be responsible for developing individualised behaviour support plans, undertaking functional behaviour assessments, and working closely with clients, families, and other stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes. You will provide support and training to ensure effective implementation of strategies, maintain professional records, and contribute to a multidisciplinary team for case planning and reviews.
QualificationsExperience in positive behaviour support, functional behaviour assessments, and behaviour management strategies.Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients, families, and teams.Knowledge of trauma-informed and neuroaffirming practices as well as experience working with individuals with disabilities, including those on the NDIS.Organisational skills to manage caseloads, documentation, and compliance with NDIS reporting requirements.Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field with relevant professional experience.Demonstrated ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively.Current driver's license and ability to travel for work engagements as required.
