Required Experience
- 10+ years’ experience in civil engineering, ideally with a background in urban development or infrastructure.
- A grassroots engineer – someone who’s worked their way up and understands the full project lifecycle.
- A hands-on designer who can roll up their sleeves when needed and guide the team with technical expertise.
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities, with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Ties to the Townsville region – whether you’re local or looking to return, we value your connection to the community.

- Proven experience in engineering design, project management, and team leadership.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, 12D, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of relevant codes, standards, and engineering legislation.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Commercial acumen and experience in client engagement and business development.
- Ability to mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff.
