Admin Officer position available 

ABOUT CAIRNS TV MAN

Cairns TV Man is a locally owned and operated Audio/Visual/Antenna business that completes projects for commercial and private customers. We work closely with large retailers for in home set ups and installs and also carry out repairs for multiple major brands. 

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will work with our customers, clients and team members to ensure all jobs status information is up to date and communicated where required. You will work closely with the team to ensure invoicing and payments are upto date. You will be responsible for the monitoring of emails and incoming phone calls, as well as organising repair paperwork and payments. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor and complete tasks received via email and phone

  • Ordering of required parts for repair

  • Arranging returns of parts to suppliers

  • Liaising with customers regarding status of repairs and required follow-ups

  • Submit invoices at stages required

  • Communicate with the workshop team to stay ahead of any possible concerns, delays or required reschedules

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous administration experience preferred but not essential, on job training will be actioned as required

  • Experience in minor accounts / sending and receiving invoices beneficial 

  • Australian resident / citizenship - (we are unable to offer sponsorship)

FURTHER DETAILS

We are offering a part-time position, approx. 25 hours per week. Days and work hours will be negotiable for the right person (available to suit school hours if required). Position is permanent part-time to start with and has the possibility of an increase in hours or to full-time in the future.
