About the role

We are currently seeking a Disability Support Worker who lives in and around the Nowra area to support a 4 year-old boy with a tracheostomy to remain living within his home.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Assistance with personal care tasks
• Medication administration
• Light domestic assistance
• Manual Handling
• Management of tracheostomy and peg feeding

You will be supported by qualified healthcare professionals and would get the necessary training and skills to do the best job you can.

What you need:

• Current references
• Mobile phone
• Current driver's license and your own car
• NDIS workers screening check or willing to obtain (mandatory)
• First Aid certificate or willing to obtain (mandatory)
• Passionate about caring and committed to client wellbeing
• Working with Children Check or willing to obtain (Paid - mandatory)
