The UTS Graduate School of Health is recruiting a 2-year fixed term 0.6 FTE Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice to support our new program Graduate Certificate in Pharmacist Prescribing course commencing in 2026. About the role This teaching-focused academic position contributes to the delivery and continuous improvement of the Graduate Certificate in Pharmacist Prescribing within the Discipline of Pharmacy. The role supports high-quality learning and teaching activities that align with national standards and contemporary pharmacist prescribing practice. You will support the development, coordination, delivery and evaluation of subjects across both online and on-campus learning. You will work closely with academic colleagues, clinical partners and professional bodies to ensure the program remains current, relevant and innovative within the healthcare sector. About You You are an experienced pharmacy educator and registered pharmacist with a strong commitment to teaching excellence and student experience. You bring a contemporary understanding of pharmacist prescribing in Australia and are motivated to contribute to the development of future prescribing pharmacists.As a Lecturer, you will possess:• In-depth knowledge of pharmacist prescribing frameworks, regulations and contemporary pharmacy practice in Australia.• Knowledge of curriculum design and assessment principles in higher education.• Experience in teaching and curriculum development at tertiary level in pharmacy practice.• Familiarity with online learning platforms (e.g. Canvas) and blended delivery models.• Clinical experience in pharmacy practice, ideally with exposure to prescribing roles.• Registration with AHPRA as a pharmacist.• A PhD in Pharmacy Practice (desirable). Remuneration

Base Salary Range: $125,240 - $148,229 pa (Level B) (pro-rata) This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary. The position is part time (0.6 FTE, 3 days a week) and will be made on 2 year fixed-term basis.
