We require a passionate, high-energy, maths specialists to join our growing tutoring team in our busy centre in Sippy Downs, QLD. NumberWorks'nWords is a franchise and has been operating for over 40 years. We have very extensive systems and a program, aligned to the curriculum which you will use and which has proven results. NumberWorks'nWords in Sippy Downs opened in 2019 and currently delivers over 300 tutoring sessions a week

You will need to have Australian Curriculum knowledge, teaching or extensive tutoring experience and a passion for high school maths up to extension year 10 in particular, but our students range from Prep to Year 10. You will oversee all aspects of our busy centre with regards to maths including planning sessions aligned to individual student needs and the curriculum, monitoring student progress and monitoring and supporting tutors with teaching strategies.

You will work closely with the owner, our centre manager, a casual training manager and 20+ tutors. Your role will include ensuring students are on track to reach their goals, checking planning, and preparing for teaching. During sessions you will teach, role model, oversee, monitor, guide tutors, and ensure students are achieving their outcomes. You will need to bring high energy and a positive, success orientated attitude which inspires and motivates our staff and students. You will need computer and tech skills as our program and student planning is a combination of paper and online.

You will be casual, work 5 days a week during Queensland State School terms. Hours will be 2.00pm start time (this may extend to 1.30pm at times) and finishing at 6.30pm, Monday to Thursday with a 5.30pm finish time on Friday. We close on weekends and during school holidays. Pay rate is dependent on experience and ranges from $35 - $45 an hour.
