- $40.48 - $44.06 p/hr (LGIA Stream C Level C10 – C7 + Site + Tool Allowance) + Superannuation (depending on qualifications and experience)

About the Job
We’re looking for a qualified Fitter & Turner with welding/fabrication skills to help maintain and repair Council gear – from earthmoving machines and pumps to landscaping tools and street sweepers. You’ll work in a modern workshop with a team that values safety and work-life balance.
This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).
What You'll Do
- Repair and maintain plant equipment including hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Manufacturing, assembly and machining of parts and equipment from raw materials
- Cutting, drilling, welding & grinding of various materials
- Welding/fabrication on mobile plant and various structures
What we are looking for
- Trade qualification as Fitter & Turner
- Welding/fabrication experience
- Knowledge of WH&S procedures
