Support Worker - EPIS

Location: Marble Bar WA

East Pilbara Independence Support (EPIS) is currently recruiting for a Support Worker for our facility in Marble Bar.

Responsibilities of the roles include:

• Providing a range of community aged care services inclusive of personal care, domestic assistance, social support and transport
• Managing a Day Centre
• Support clients to access their community, engage with activities of their choice, attend appointments and access amenities
• Providing information and support to potential clients regarding aged care services available from EPIS
• Coordinating support services and developing care plans

What we are looking for:

• Prior experience as a Support Worker in aged care
• Cert III or Cert IV in aged care/individual support required.
• Thorough understanding of contemporary aged care service delivery issues in rural and remote areas including Aboriginal communities
• Knowledge and understanding of SaH and CHSP
• Excellent communication and advanced relationship building skills
• Has a WA Driver's license and ability to drive 4WD vehicles.
• Current and valid Police Clearance
• Ability to relocate to Marble Bar
• Can start immediately!!
