Tackle World Miami is seeking an experienced Fishing Tackle Specialist / Assistant Floor Manager to join our leadership team. This full-time role is ideal for someone with strong fishing knowledge who enjoys leading people, delivering exceptional customer service, and working in a hands-on retail environment.

About the Role

As an Assistant Floor Manager, you will support daily store operations while leading and developing the sales team. Your focus will be on driving sales, delivering outstanding customer experiences, and maintaining high retail standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working full time (38+ hours per week, including alternate Saturdays)

• Leading by example and supporting the sales team to achieve goals

• Supporting team members to build product knowledge and sales skills

• Providing expert advice on local fishing, techniques, and outdoor gear

• Delivering consistently high levels of customer service

• Stock replenishment, merchandising, and maintaining store presentation

• Keeping up to date with fishing trends, gear, and new technology

• Assisting with operational procedures, including stock control, health and safety and store security

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Strong knowledge of modern fishing (essential)

• Retail sales and customer service experience in a fast-paced environment

• Confidence leading and supporting a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A positive, reliable, and customer-focused attitude

• Ability to work weekends and flexible hours as required
