Your Choice Matters Pty Ltd is a trusted, family-owned and operated Registered Disability Service Provider offering mentoring and support services under the NDIS. With our roots in Adelaide, we’re excited to expand into Gold Coast QLD, and bring our passion for empowering individuals to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives to the Gold Coast community.
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated casual Support Workers / Mentors to join our growing team in Gold Coast and surrounding regions.
At Your Choice Matters, we believe that great support starts with a great team. We’re a family-owned disability service that not only empowers our participants to achieve their goals, but also values and invests in the people who make that possible — our staff.
We pride ourselves on creating a genuine team culture where you’ll feel supported, trained, and appreciated. Our staff enjoy regular catch-ups, ongoing development opportunities, and a workplace that feels more like family than just a job. We also put great effort into rostering with balance in mind — making sure your shifts are built around your needs so you can enjoy both work and family life.
When you join us, you’re not just another support worker, you’re part of a team that looks after each other while making a real difference in people’s lives.
The Role
As a Mentor/Support Worker, you’ll provide one-on-one support to help participants achieve their NDIS goals, build independence, and live fulfilling lives. While community access is part of the role, we are especially seeking staff who are confident and experienced in providing complex care — or are genuinely willing to learn and develop these skills with our training and support.
Complex care includes personal care such as showering, dressing, hygiene, mobility support, and medication management. You’ll also assist with daily living needs such as meal preparation, shopping, transport, social connection, and household tasks. Most importantly, you’ll be a consistent, reliable support who empowers clients while bringing compassion and positivity to their day.
At YCM, we don’t just match you with clients — we make sure you feel trained, supported, and comfortable, so you can thrive in your role.
