Duties: Some of the duties you will be required to perform include
- Preparing and baking sour dough bread loaves, baguettes, rolls.
- Preparing viennoiserie, pastries inclusive of glazing pastries
- kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing and shaping dough
- monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times
- coordinating the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling of batches of bread, rolls and pastry products
- operating machines which roll and mould dough
- ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations for operation of equipment
