We are seeking the experience of a dedicated Sales & Events Manager to drive our business forward and to continue leading the business as a go to destination for weddings, social and corporate events at our estate.

• Salary: $80,000 to $85,000 + superannuation + bonus

Josef Chromy Wines is the go-to wedding destination venue in Launceston with picturesque views over the lake and vineyard hosting a number of weddings, major events and smaller corporate and social activities. The role of Sales & Events Manager is to continue to drive and grow this business through site tours, industry consultation and execution of event strategy.

This role would suit a high achieving event sales coordinator in the wedding industry. You will be responsible for curating unforgettable experiences for our guests, from large scale events and weddings to intimate celebrations, bringing your guests special days together successfully and stress-free.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

• Delivering sales to meet established budgets
• Maintain, nurture and service existing channels and leads
• Create and develop event orders
• Supplier and Vendor relations
• Organise event collateral for upcoming events
• Facilitating weekly meetings with front of house team to brief on upcoming events
• Identify opportunities for development of event package and product offerings

You will provide support to event and venue team including:

• Working in collaboration with key stakeholders (Hospitality Manager, Head Chef, Restaurant Manager, Cellar Door Manager, Functions & Events Supervisor)
• Greeting and liaising with key clients for high profile events

Further responsibilities:

• Development and delivery of the internal events program including, Festa, Winemakers Invitation Series
• External events and expos to represent Josef Chromy to generate business
• Represent Josef Chromy Wines events to the MICE, Tourism and Wedding market
