As the Heavy Transport Branch Manager for Mammoet Australia, you will step into a pivotal leadership role within a global industry leader known for delivering some of the world’s most complex and iconic heavy lifting and transport solutions. Based at our Naval Base, WA operation, you will be a hands-on senior manager responsible for overseeing day-to-day performance while driving the strategic growth of our Heavy Transport team. You will empower, support and inspire a dedicated workforce, strengthen our customer relationships and identify new business opportunities that elevate our presence across Australia.
What You’ll Be Doing
Leading, influencing and motivating your team through strong people skillsEnsuring compliance with industry best practices, performance standards and specificationsOverseeing financial processes, identifying risks early and implementing effective mitigation strategiesIdentifying, developing and promoting new business opportunitiesChampioning continuous improvement initiativesTravelling interstate and locally as required
What You’ll Need
You bring at least 5 years of proven Heavy Lift and Transport experience to this role Strong safety leadership qualities Strong understanding of heavy lift and transport logistics, equipment handling, and operational requirementsPrior people management and leadership experience, and a passion for coaching and mentoring Strong commercial acumen and sales capability Knowledge of change management process, industry relevant department systems and MS Office suite Ideally, a background that includes having worked in any/some of the following sectors: civil engineering, construction, renewables, oil and gas, offshore, ports and mining
