Psychologist – Part-Time - Plainland, Queensland   Position Highlights:

Employment Type:   Permanent –Part Time 2- 3 days a week (16-24 hours) – building to full time if desired, with flexibility around school hours where possible

Position Requirements: Current AHPRA registration as a General Psychologist

Eligibility for a Medicare Provider Number, or active progression toward eligibility Legal right to work in Australia

Ability to meet all role requirements within the relevant Award classification Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills Demonstrated experience providing clinical mental health services to individuals with moderate to severe and complex mental illness, and/or to therapeutic groups

Experience collaborating with, or providing clinical updates to, GPs and other Allied Health professionals Sound understanding of the mental health sector, including current reform agendas across primary care, tertiary services, and non-government organisations Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and collaborative problem solving

High level clinical documentation skills with strong attention to detail Effective problem-solving abilities, supporting evidence based clinical decision making Proficiency in the use of computers and clinical software systems, including Microsoft programs
