Construction Manager - Residential Builds (FNQ)

A leading residential builder in Far North Queensland, backed by Master Builders and HIA, is experiencing continued growth and is seeking a suitably qualified Construction Manager to lead its Construction Team. Specialising in residential homes, duplexes, and unit developments, the business prides itself on quality craftsmanship and delivering a top-tier customer experience.

As The Construction Manager You Be Responsible For

Plan Checks to ensure compliance with NCCEngaging with the Consulting Structural EngineerFinal plan checks before construction commencementProblem solving with certifiers and subcontractorsEngaging all external agencies as needed in relation to construction complianceHandling subcontractor engagement Managing your team of Supervisors/TradesmenEnsuring projects are completed to contractual requirements including timelines and accuracyOversight of financial performance on each project

In addition to the above, there will be ad hoc tasks outside of this on a day to day basis.

Requirements For The Role

Minimum Certificate IV in Construction or equivalentRobust experience in Construction ManagementLow Rise Builder's License (preferred but not essential)Valid Drivers LicenceAustralian citizen or permanent residency
