About The Opportunity
The Hospital Assistant supports the delivery of an efficient and effective cleaning service to the patients and facilities within the Health Service.
In This Role You Will
Undertake a range of cleaning duties, in clinical and non-clinical areas ensuring equipment is cleaned and stored correctly and that damage is reported.Cooperate with other staff members to ensure that duty requirements and standards are being met and maintained.Complete documentation and reports applicable to the role in an accurate, complete and timely manner to ensure adequate communication with other staff.Minimise risks to self and patient through consistent adherence to safe manual handling principles and infection prevention and control guidelines.

About You
We are looking for someone who has:
Previous experience working in a company or organisation undertaking commercial cleaning or providing general assistance or a similar role.Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and take directions from supervisor.Committed to teamwork within a multidisciplinary environment.Ability and willingness to work shifts, on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
