We are currently seeking multiple dedicated and values-driven Support Workers to join our growing team. These roles involve providing person-centred support to individuals with diverse needs across the Sunshine Coast.
We are particularly seeking applicants with experience or interest in the following areas:
- Mental health support.
- Working with children and young people.
- High needs disability support (PEG feeding experience highly regarded).
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing respectful, individualised support in line with client care plans.
- Assisting with daily living activities and community participation.
- Supporting emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour.
- Completing accurate documentation, progress notes, and incident reports.
- Working independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Maintaining professional boundaries and ethical practice.
Essential Requirements:
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Valid Blue Card (mandatory).
- Yellow Card (NDIS Worker Screening) must be obtained prior to commencement (We can assist with new applications or renewals if required).
- Strong honesty, reliability, and professionalism.
- Clear communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to document reports accurately and on time.
Desirable Experience:
- Mental health background.
- Experience supporting children and young people.
- High needs disability support experience (PEG feeding ideal but not essential).
