About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Rostering Officer to support seamless service delivery by efficiently coordinating and managing Support Worker rosters across the Gold Coast, working in our Bundall based office.

This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative role where priorities can shift throughout the day. You will balance client needs, workforce availability while maintaining excellent communication with clients, Support Workers, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and optimise Support Worker rosters to ensure continuity of care
  • Proactively fill planned and unplanned vacant shifts
  • Manage staff availability, leave requests, and last-minute changes
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Awards, agreements, and organisational policies
  • Communicate roster changes clearly and professionally with staff and clients
  • Maintain accurate records and data integrity within rostering systems (e.g. Visual care)
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Recruitment, and Care Management teams
  • Participate in on-call rostering support as required

About You

  • Proven experience in rostering, scheduling, or workforce coordination (aged care, disability, or community services preferred)
  • Minimum 1-2 years of rostering or scheduling experience required
  • Strong understanding of Awards and compliance obligations
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Resilient, adaptable, and confident working in a reactive, fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Competent with computer systems
  • Professional, discreet, and customer-focused in all interactions

Essential Requirements

  • Relevant experience in rostering or scheduling
  • Current driver's licence
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check must be obtained before starting
  • Ability to work at Bundall office, Gold Coast
  • Australian citizenship required
