Delaware North Australia is hiring a full-time Coordinator Human Resources to join our team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin. As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the administrative and process functions of the HR department in an accurate, effective manner. What will you do?
Provide accurate advice to internal clients on HR-related issues while ensuring compliance with legislation and internal policies Conduct thorough investigations and disciplinary meetings in cases of discrimination, harassment, or other misconduct Review, update, and maintain all HR documentation, including position descriptions, employee handbooks, and manager toolkits Coordinate and manage the administration of Apprentice and Trainee requirements, including probationary and annual appraisals Oversee and administer training and development programs, ensuring compliance with legislation, maintaining LMS, and updating courses as needed
More About You
Degree in human resources management or currently pursuing Background in the hospitality industry and Certificate 4 Workplace Assessment and Training preferred Previous experience in data base management, handling confidential information, and dealing with difficult workplace situations Understanding of various industrial tools such as Awards, EBA’s, AWA’s, and legal contracts Up to date knowledge and experience understanding HR Legislation
