Disability Creative is excited to be expanding our programs into Muswellbrook, and we’re looking for a local Disability Support Worker with NDIS experience to join our growing team.
We deliver creative, social, and community-based programs designed to build confidence, connection, and skills for NDIS participants through shared interests and inclusive activities.
About the RoleYou will support participants to engage in structured and semi-structured activities, with a strong focus on:Social connection and communicationGroup-based engagementCreative and interest-led programsOur sessions often include board games, tabletop gaming, and pop-culture-based activities.
About YouWe’d love to hear from you if you:Have experience working with NDIS participantsAre reliable, friendly, and participant-focusedCommunicate calmly and respectfullyEnjoy board games, tabletop games, or “nerdy” hobbiesBonus: You play or enjoy Magic: The Gathering
Essential RequirementsNDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)Working With Children Check (if applicable)First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportABN (or willingness to operate as a contractor)
