About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive and people-focused Membership & Events Coordinator to join our Darwin team. This is a dynamic role where you’ll help grow our NT membership base, support member retention, and deliver high-quality events and awards programs that showcase the best of our industry.

You’ll be the friendly face and trusted contact for our members, partners, and stakeholders — helping them connect with HIA’s services, events, and community.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting member recruitment, onboarding, and retention activities

  • Coordinating and attending NT-based events and awards programs

  • Managing HIA Shop and stationery sales, stock, and promotions

  • Providing exceptional customer service and office support

  • Maintaining accurate member records and CRM data

  • Assisting with marketing, communications, and post-event reporting

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills

  • Experience in sales, retention, or stakeholder engagement

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Confidence using Microsoft Office (CRM experience a plus)

  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to support a small, high-performing team
