About Us:

McElligotts is a privately owned company specialising in suppling Protective Coating and Scaffolding Services to Mackay and surrounding areas. We are requiring an enthusiastic new team member to join our dynamic team to assist in mobilisation and transport of our equipment throughout Queensland to our various sites. We value safety, reliability, and strong work ethic.

Your role will include:

• Operate a Flatbed/Tilt Tray truck to load, haul, and deliver equipment and goods safely and on time to our various sites

• Operate a Forklift for loading/unloading at depots or sites

• Complete Vehicle Inspections before/after trips and report any maintenance issues

• Ensure accurate completion of delivery dockets and vehicle log books

• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:

• Current truck driver's licence (HR) with minimum 2 years commercial driving experience

• Current LF (Forklift) licence & experience operating a forklift

• Clean driving record

• Strong work ethic, punctuality, ability to work independently

• Valid Australian work visa or citizenship/permanent residency status

• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing

• Physically fit with ability to lift heavy equipment and perform manual handling tasks

• Current White Card (Construction Induction Training) or willingness to obtain
