We make the recruitment process easy for you. CDC will upgrade your C class licence for free and provide you with the information you need to get your ‘H’ endorsement to carry passengers and operate our fleet of buses.

We offer flexible work tailored to your needs. 

As a local to Jabiru, you will be joining our professional and award-winning bus-driving family that provides an casual school driving shifts. You will work 20 hours per week doing school runs from Monday to Friday during school term. 

Our main depots in Berrimah and Humpty Doo are exciting and vibrant workplaces, bustling with energy and movement – people, buses, and coaches for public transport, government and mining contracts, and major events, sports, festivals, and recreational activities. 

A market leader in modern safety technology, CDC’s diverse fleet is well-maintained and air-conditioned for your comfort, enjoyment, and wellbeing.

Remember, if you have yet to drive a bus, we will pay you well while providing extensive on-the-job training to make you a very confident, safe, and accomplished bus driver for our company.

About you 

CDC will consider a number of options as far as your skills and experience are concerned because we have plenty of work and lots of opportunities for you in the Northern Territory and elsewhere in other states. 

Here is a snapshot of some of what we need from you:

  • Living in Jabiru

  • A Northern Territory driver's licence and good driving record

  • Current MR/HR licence or ability to be trained to get one

  • H endorsement or the ability to get one

  • Current Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card) or ability to get one

  • Any bus driving or heavy vehicle experience would be great but not essential

  • A good manner and the ability to interact with customers of all ages and abilities
