About the Role

This position will provide expert health and safety advice, guidance and leadership and will share responsibility for the development of appropriate systems, tools, resources and training to ensure all organisational and legislative health and safety indicators are achieved. This position will also build a participative relationship model, where education, guidance and expertise address operational issues and build capability within operational areas, contributing to the achievement of service deliverables through a focus on continuous improvement.

About You

The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Work Health and Safety, Risk, Compliance, Law, Health, or a related discipline. They bring a strong background in similar roles and possess (or are capable of obtaining) essential certifications such as the General Construction Induction (white card), Traffic Management Implementation (TMI), ICAM Lead Training for Incident Investigation, and Internal Auditor accreditation. Known for their exceptional coaching and facilitation skills, they have a proven ability to empower leaders and teams toward cultivating a safe, healthy, and productive workplace. This candidate thrives in dynamic environments, showing flexibility and efficiency under shifting priorities. Their deep understanding of WHS legislation and regulatory frameworks is complemented by strong interpersonal abilities, enabling meaningful collaboration, consultation, and negotiation with customers and stakeholders.
