Position Overview

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts & Office Administrator to join our team. While you’ll assist with general administration, the primary focus of this role will be on managing accounts, bookkeeping, and financial administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reconcile accounts and assist with bookkeeping

  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and credit notes

  • Manage accounts receivable and payable, including follow-ups

  • Assist with payroll and timesheet approvals

  • Support Managers with financial data and job cost tracking

  • Maintain accurate and organised records, files, and documentation

  • Provide light administrative support, including phone calls, emails, and filing

About You

  • Proven experience in accounts, bookkeeping, or a similar finance-focused role

  • Solid understanding of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and reconciliations

  • High attention to detail with strong numerical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

  • Experience with accounting or job management software (MYOB, ServiceM8, EzyCollect and online payment systems)

  • Excellent communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach

  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
