Dental Practice Coordinator – Geelong

We are a rapidly growing dental practice in Geelong, proud to be the local community’s favourite. With a close-knit and supportive team, we are now seeking an experienced and motivated Dental Practice Coordinator to join us and help shape the future of our practice.

About the role

This is a hands-on role where you’ll oversee front office operations and support the smooth running of our clinic. You’ll play a key part in creating an exceptional patient experience, managing treatment discussions, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.

What you’ll be doing

  • Providing warm and professional service to our patients
  • Coordinating front desk activities including bookings, payments, and patient records
  • Explaining payment plan options and supporting patients in understanding their treatment costs
  • Discussing and presenting treatment plans with patients (orthodontic knowledge preferred, but not essential)
  • Triaging patient phone calls and enquiries to ensure smooth scheduling and appropriate care
  • Assisting with practice administration, reporting, and compliance
  • Liaising with suppliers and service providers
  • Supporting the clinical team with scheduling and workflow
  • Taking responsibility for coordinating and managing practice operations to ensure smooth day-to-day running

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a dental practice, with a focus on practice coordination or management
  • Strong understanding of dental practice management software and office systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in discussing treatment and financial options
  • Ability to prioritise, multitask, and work well under pressure
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Someone who thrives in a collaborative, small-team environment
  • (Bonus) Previous experience with orthodontics or specialist treatments

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $32.00 – $38.00 per hour
