Your new roleAs an Office Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for residents and visitors, providing courteous, efficient, and high-quality customer service. You’ll support Corporate Services staff and contribute to the smooth running of day-to-day operations. This role offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in your community.
Key responsibilities

  • Deliver prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable responses to customer enquiries and complaints
  • Provide cashier, telephone, and reception services with professionalism and accuracy
  • Refer customers effectively to relevant staff and liaise across departments.
  • Operate and promote the customer service request system (CRM), ensuring accurate data entry and request assessment
  • Perform receipting and end-of-day reconciliations in line with documented procedures
  • Assist customers with application and registration forms, ensuring completeness and accuracy
  • Provide administrative support across various teams as directed by the Coordinator Customer Service
  • Handle cemetery enquiries with sensitivity and manage plaque orders and tracking
  • Maintain and update the internal customer information database, reporting any process concerns

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in customer service or office administration
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Competence in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • A proactive and empathetic approach to customer interactions
