About The Role

You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the facility's laundry services and assist with our Cleaning Department in a dual capacity. This role is crucial in ensuring that the residents have access to clean and well-maintained clothing, bed linens, and other fabric items and our residence is kept hygienically clean at all times.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

Laundry Operations: Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, clothing, towels, and other fabrics used by residents and staff.Equipment: Regularly use, clean and maintain laundry equipment, such as washing machines and dryers.Lost and Found: Maintain a system for lost and found items to ensure residents' belongings are returned promptly.Cleaning and Disinfecting: Regularly clean and disinfect resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and other areas throughout the facility.Waste Management: Dispose of waste, including both regular trash and medical waste, in accordance with proper guidelines and safety protocols.Infection Control: Follow strict infection control procedures, such as using appropriate cleaning agents and personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of infections.Stocking Supplies: Ensure that cleaning and hygiene supplies (such as soaps, sanitizers, and cleaning agents) are adequately stocked and available for residents and staff.Equipment: Using floor scrubbers, vacuums, cleaning trolleys and consumables.
