Wise West Connect is seeking compassionate and positive Casual Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) and Domestic Assistants to provide exceptional Home Care Package services In Bendigo and Surrounding . What You'll Be Doing

As a Casual PCA & Domestic Assistant, you will provide essential support to elderly individuals in their homes. Your responsibilities will include:

Personal Care

• Assisting with showering, dressing, and grooming.
• Assisting with toileting.
• Having the know-how and understanding of working with the elderly.
• Demonstrating compassion and a positive attitude in all interactions.

Domestic Assistance

• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and other general cleaning duties.
• Making beds and changing linen.
• Providing laundry service and hanging clothes to dry.

General Duties

• Implementing resident care plans and providing individualised support.
• Identifying incidents, near-misses, and potential health concerns, and alerting immediate supervisors when necessary.
• Maintaining confidentiality in all matters.

What You'll Need

• For Personal Care: Certificate III in Aged Care or Certificate III in Individual Support.
• For Domestic Assistance: Studying Certificate III and IV in a relevant field is a plus.
• Available to work AM and PM shifts on weekdays.
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to older people and their families.
• Computer literacy.
• Demonstrated time management and multi-tasking skills.
• A teamwork attitude and the ability to demonstrate flexibility to workplace demands.
• Work Authorisation: Australia (Preferred)

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Experience with showering, feeding, and food handling.
• Experience in cleaning, bed making, and linen changes.
