About the role
Central Darling Shire Council is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate and Customer Service Manager to join our team. This permanent full-time position will be a key member of the senior management team, responsible for leading and managing our corporate and customer service functions.
What You'll Be Doing
Manage and oversee the delivery of high-quality customer service to both internal and external customersManage and oversee the records management, ICT, Post Office and administration functionsEnsure efficient and effective business operations, including policy development, process improvement, and risk managementProvide strategic and operational advice and support to the General Manager and the Management Executive teamFoster a strong customer-centric culture and continuous improvement mindset across the organisationRepresent the Council and liaise with key stakeholders, including government agencies and the local community
What We're Looking For
Experience in a management role within a local government or public sector organisationProven track record in leading and developing high-performing teamsExcellent customer service and stakeholder management skillsStrong commercial acumen and financial management capabilitiesExceptional written and verbal communication skillsExperience with ICT platforms and management systemsTertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, such as business, public administration or a related fieldA satisfactory National Police Clearance and NSW Working with Children Check is essential.
