YouTube Video Editor With Proven Experience (Long-Form)

We’re after a YouTube specialist who understands what actually wins on the platform — retention, hooks, titles/thumbnails, and narrative flow — and can prove it with results.

Important:
If you don’t include a portfolio of long-form YouTube videos that demonstrate the skills below, and at least one video with over 100,000 views, you won’t be considered. No exceptions.

What You’ll Bring:

  • A proven track record of growing channels (yours or someone else’s — links required)
  • Experience editing long-form content (10–20+ min videos, not Shorts)
  • A strong grip on retention-first editing, pacing, and viewer psychology
  • Ability to craft intro hooks that hold attention beyond the first 30 seconds
  • Understanding of title, thumbnail, and concept strategy (you edit with these in mind)
  • Motion graphics and overlays that enhance storytelling without overdoing it
  • Sound design that drives emotion and keeps things polished
  • You know how to read YouTube retention graphs, CTR, AVD, and iterate based on data

Bonus Points:

  • You’ve grown your own YouTube channel to 10,000+ subscribers

The Role:

  • Freelance / Part-time to start – we’re an established creator scaling long-form content, and we’ll grow with the right person
  • Remote, flexible hours
  • Work closely with creators on food, lifestyle, and personality-led content
  • Room to grow if the fit is right

What To Apply With:

  • Links to 3–5 long-form videos you’ve edited
  • If possible, share metrics or context (what changed after you touched the video or channel) – screenshots from YouTube Studio are appreciated
  • (Optional) A link to your own channel with 10,000+ subscribers, if applicable

We don’t care about degrees or formal qualifications. We care about results — and your edit should speak for itself.
