Hays Recruitment is seeking two Field Services Ranger’s to join our client’s team in Central Gippsland. Our client is a respected Government Department with a significant presence and impact across the State.

• Part-time hours (days to be confirmed)
• Role based at Loch Sport Office, with a company vehicle provided for daily duties
• Expected start mid October, with duration ongoing based on business needs

You will be responsible for the following

• Conducting campground inspections and maintaining cleanliness across designated sites
• Performing minor maintenance tasks and reporting larger issues as needed
• Restocking supplies and ensuring amenities are clean and functional
• Logging hazards and maintenance needs using digital systems
• Operating manual company vehicles to travel between sites
• Supporting broader ranger duties as required, including environmental works and asset upkeep

  What you’ll need to succeed

• Manual driver’s licence
• Current Working With Children Check
• Ability to clear a Police Check
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and follow daily schedules
• Comfortable with physical outdoor tasks, including cleaning and minor maintenance
• Basic computer skills to log hazards and access job details (via iPad or desktop)
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety procedures
• Highly desirable: 4WD ticket and trade or maintenance background
