This role is about walking alongside Anangu and other Aboriginal young people, families and communities to create meaningful education and employment pathways. Based at Uluru, Ayers Rock Resort, you will be part of a dedicated Indigenous Engagement Team working in partnership with Anangu leaders, schools and community organizations across the NPY and Central Australia regions.

About The Role

As the Education & Employment Pathways Coordinator, you will:

Design and deliver programs that support Aboriginal students and young people to explore training and employment opportunities at Ayers Rock Resort, including hosting 20 school groups a yearTravel regularly across remote communities to facilitate school-based training, work exposure visits and mentoring programsSupport Anangu employees at the Resort by building confidence, skills and cultural safety in the workplaceBuild strong partnerships with schools, families, service providers and Anangu community leadersPromote long-term, sustainable outcomes through culturally safe practice and respectful engagement

About you:

We Are Seeking Someone Who Is

Passionate about working alongside Aboriginal young people to achieve their goalsExperienced in working in remote Aboriginal contexts and building strong community relationshipsA confident communicator with strong coordination and mentoring skillsFlexible, reliable and culturally respectful in all aspects of your workHolds (or is willing to obtain) a relevant Cert IV qualifications, plus a Working with Children Check

Lived experience, community language skills and cultural knowledge are highly valued. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
