Hatchery Technician, Full Time

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Hatchery Technician to join our team. This role plays a vital part in supporting hatchery operations and ensuring the welfare of our fish stock is maintained to the highest standard.

What you will be doing?

• Work independently and collaborative within a team environment
• Complete daily routine tasks efficiently and to a high standard
• Maintain accurate records and complete daily checklists and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with management and team members
• Fish feeding
• Cleaning tanks
• Mort collection
• Flushing systems
• Monitoring water quality and completing associated documentation
• Uphold workplace health and safety

What you will bring

• Experience or an interest in fin fish husbandry
• Wader training (or willingness to obtain)
• Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
• Commitment to safety, wellbeing and ongoing learning
