Port Elliot Kindergarten is in the town of Port Elliot on the Fleurieu Peninsula. Framed by beaches and rich local culture, the kindergarten celebrates its values of Belonging, Equity, Community and Curiosity by providing a nurturing, inclusive environment where children build confidence and enthusiasm for learning.

Through holistic approaches, learning for all is supported with engaging indoor and outdoor programs, community connections and First Nation's culture.

Position Overview

We are seeking an early childhood educator passionate about inspiring young learners. The ideal candidate will align with our values, foster stimulating environments, and build strong connections with children, families, and the community.

Key Responsibilities

* Design play-based learning opportunities in line with the Early Years Learning Framework that nurture wellbeing and development.

* Build and maintain partnerships with families to support children's learning.

* Observe and document learning journeys for children.

* Incorporate sustainability and cultural understanding into curriculum.
