We are seeking a passionate and skilled Preschool teacher to join our team at Yorketown Community Children's Centre. Yorketown is located in the southern part of the Yorke Peninsula, in South Australia, and is just a 2 ? hour drive from Adelaide and 1 ? drive from Kadina. 2026 is an exciting time in our community as Yorketown Community Children's Centre will begin offering 3-year-old preschool.
This position involves working within a team of Preschool and Rural Care educators that share the learning space. We value a collaborative approach across Preschool and Rural Care in which educators care for, engage with and support all children so that it enhances all children's wellbeing and learning. The applicant will be involved in ongoing site improvement through the National Quality Standards and Quality Improvement Planning. Preferably the applicant would have sound knowledge of Early Years Learning Framework and be willing to build their knowledge about inquiry-based learning and documentation.
