FINAL TRIM EXCAVATOR OPERATORS wanted for long term civil work in Cairns and remote.

Marino Plant Hire is a Cairns based locally owned company that offers plant hire services to the FNQ region. The company provides opportunities for local and remote work, offering above award rates. 

Must be experienced in the following skills;

• Minimum 3 years medium size excavator operations (14t+)

• Skid Steer skills beneficial

• Final Trim skills

• Batters

• Drainage

• GPS knowledge 

• White card and excavator ticket required.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Operate and maintain excavators in a safe and efficient manner 

• Perform regular checks and maintenance on equipment 

• Excavate and load materials as per project requirements 

• Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations on the job site 

• Assist with other tasks as needed within the scope of the role Required Skills and Qualifications: 

• Valid excavator operator certification 

• Proven experience operating excavators in various work environments 

• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations 

• Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment 

• Willingness to work in both local and remote settings
