The opportunity
We are in the market for an experienced General Hand to work in
our City Parks teams; you are passionate about your profession and
enjoy the rewards of a good challenge.
As a General Hand you will work as part of a team undertaking
general parks and gardens maintenance throughout the City of
Mandurah including the garden maintenance of road corridors and
other City owned and managed assets and land.
To be successful in this role, you will
need:
- Two or more years of experience using horticultural
equipment and machinery to maintain parks, reserves and
turf - Current unrestricted MR class drivers’ Licence
- Current White Card
- Certificate II or Certificate III in Horticulture or Turf
Management (desirable) - Basic horticultural knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret plans
