Kickstart your career in Hospitality with a School-Based Traineeship at The Ville!

In collaboration with CTA Training Specialists (RTO Code 31607), we’re excited to offer senior students the opportunity to join our School-Based Food & Beverage Traineeship Program.

As a trainee, you’ll gain hands-on experience by rotating through our vibrant venues including Quarterdeck, Splash Bar, The Palm House, Event Operations, and Spin Café, while working towards your Certificate III in Hospitality.

The SIT30622 Certificate III in Hospitality offers a comprehensive education for individuals aiming to develop a career in the hospitality industry. Students will learn valuable skills in areas like food and beverage preparation and service, customer service, and communication and teamwork.

Graduates of this program are well-prepared to take on roles such as baristas, wait staff, and hospitality all-rounders, with the potential to advance into supervisory positions.

The Commitment

To successfully complete the School-Based Traineeship, participants must commit to the following:

• Duration: 2-year program
• Workplace Hours: 375 hours per year (a total of 750 hours over the traineeship)
• School Release: 1 day per week released from school to work at The Ville and 1 additional day every 6 weeks for theory-based training with CTA Training Specialists

• Entering Year 10 or 11 in 2026
• Passionate about hospitality and eager to learn in a hands-on environment
• Reliable and committed, with the ability to balance school, work, and study

No prior experience is needed—just a great attitude and a willingness to learn!
