Kickstart your career in Hospitality with a School-Based Traineeship at The Ville!

In partnership with CTA Training Specialists (RTO Code 31607), The Ville Resort-Casino is offering an exciting opportunity for senior students to join our School-Based Hotel Traineeship Program.

As a trainee, you’ll gain hands-on experience working in our Front Office team, where you’ll learn the fundamentals of hotel operations while completing your Certificate III in Business.

Certificate III in Business

The BSB30120 Certificate III in Business is a comprehensive course designed for individuals seeking to enhance their business skills within the hospitality industry.

Tailored to meet the unique demands of hospitality professionals, this course covers essential topics such as customer service, team collaboration, and effective communication. Participants will gain practical knowledge and hands-on experience in business operations, equipping them with the skills needed to excel in various hospitality roles.

The Commitment

To successfully complete the School-Based Traineeship, participants must commit to the following:

• Duration: 1-year program
• Workplace Hours: 375 hours over the traineeship
• School Release: 1 day per week released from school to work at The Ville and 1 additional day every 6 weeks for theory-based training with CTA Training Specialists

About you

• Entering Year 10, 11 or 12 in 2026
• Passionate about hospitality and eager to learn in a hands-on environment
• Reliable and committed, with the ability to balance school, work, and study

No prior experience is needed—just a great attitude and a willingness to learn!
