About the role
As the Team Leader Strategy and Performance, you will oversee a newly created team in the development, submission and implementation of the Water and Sewer IPART pricing submission process, ensuring compliance with IPARTs regulatory framework and alignment with organisational needs and objectives.
Reporting to the Section Manager Performance and Risk, this role will also see you leading your team to foster healthy collaboration across the broader Water and Sewer directorate to identify business efficiencies, and work with teams to implement and embed those changes, creating sustainable improved performance.
This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- a Degree qualification in Business Management, Finance or related field OR demonstrated solid contemporary experience in a similar role in a regulated industry, combined with ongoing professional development
- demonstrated experience managing pricing submissions within a regulated industry, preferably within the Water and Sewer sector in compliance with IPART
- experience leading and implementing business improvement initiatives, with a strong understanding of business analysis, change and project management principles
- strong analytical skills with the ability to extract, compile, and present data from multiple sources to inform decision-making and measure performance effectively
- the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels to achieve organisational objectives and facilitate collaboration
- proven ability to manage and develop a team of professionals while fostering a positive work environment focused on continuous improvement and high performance
Other important information
- This position has a salary range of $106.9k to $128.5k + 12% Superannuation. A market loading payment may apply for the right candidate based on skills and experience.
- We have a permanent full-time role available.
- This role will be able to access a 9 day fortnight.
- We are able to offer hybrid and flexible working conditions for this role - 2 days from home and 3 days onsite.
- This role is located at the Wyong Administration Building.
