We have more than 50 years’ experience in mining, civil construction and the transport industry. We have built a leading reputation for successful and efficient completion of major projects, including clearing works, haul road construction, topsoil and overburden removal, crushing & screening, and mine site rehabilitation.

 Charles Hull Contracting pride ourselves on our client relationships and are seeking a candidate than can forge and maintain client relationships to a high standard whilst ensuring successful delivery of the existing and future service contracts.

As a Project Manager with Charles Hull Contracting, you will be responsible for leading the project team in all construction and mining activities, ensuring activities are controlled and coordinated to the Client Standards.
 
Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure appropriate operational, functional and management control processes are in place to achieve project objectives
  • Lead and guide the project team to complete assigned projects in accordance with the contractual documentation, company standards and procedures, including supervising and scheduling project activities
  • Control project programming, cost control, quality control, procurement, contracts administration, supervision, general site administration and the activities of sub-contractors
  • Develop and review construction planning and monitor progress of allocated projects to ensure they are on schedule and within quality and cost estimates
  • Value and manage variations, liaising with clients, contract administrators and other relevant parties.
  • Track and report on both client and internal safety production KPI's

  
What We Are Looking For:
To be considered for this role you will have:

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering or Project Management or Business related discipline ( preferred but not essential )
  • Extensive experience in Civil Construction, Project Management or Operations Management and/or a similar role
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills and good people acumen 
  • Strong Leadership qualities and ability to effectively manage a team
