About the Role

You will collaborate closely with the Project Manager and subcontractors to ensure the successful delivery of a high-quality project, on schedule and within budget.

Key tasks & responsibilities will include:  

• Scheduling work in line with project program.
• Manage procurement of materials and equipment.
• Coordinating sub-contractors and direct labour.
• Ensure quality management, addressing and rectifying defects as needed.
• Implement and oversee WHS protocols, including conducting daily pre-start meetings and routine site inspections.
• Quality management including rectification of defects.
• Identify and resolve constructability challenges.
• Reporting to the Project Manager on progress.

About you

• Minimum 5 + years’ experience in a similar role within the commercial building over $5M.
• Proven track record delivering commercial projects.
• Cool, calm, and collected, engaging with people in a collaborative way to get work done.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid ability to manage and motivate trades in a fast-paced environment.
• Trade qualification.
• Current driver’s license.
